Tell us a little about your business. What do you offer, and what makes it unique?
A Team Home Services is a locally owned company offering electrical work, handyman services, and home remodeling throughout the Greater Austin area. What sets us apart is our commitment to integrity, reliability, and transparency, core values that guide every interaction with our customers. Whether it’s installing a car charger, updating your lighting, or tackling a kitchen remodel, our licensed professionals prioritize quality work and exceptional service. We also offer text-based virtual consultations, making it easier than ever to get help with your home.
How did your journey as a business owner begin? What inspired you to get started?
The journey started after working for several companies that didn’t value or care for their employees. The final straw came during COVID, which pushed me to go out on my own. I started the business by myself and quickly found that the values I built the company on, integrity, reliability, and transparency, were shared by others in the industry. That’s how our team came together. We’re a group of professionals who genuinely care about the work we do and the people we serve.
How long have you been in business, and why did you choose Hutto as your home base?
We’ve been in business since 2020. Hutto stood out to us not only because of its massive potential for growth, but also because of its tight-knit community, frequent local events, and that welcoming small-town feel. It’s the kind of place where you can build something meaningful—and we have.
What’s been one of your most memorable moments as a business owner?
Hiring my first full-time employee. It was a turning point that showed me other people believed in the same values I did, and they were willing to commit to building something great together.
What do you think makes the Hutto community special?
The people here care about each other. There’s a strong sense of support among small business owners and residents alike. It’s a place where you can truly be part of something bigger, where the community wants you to succeed and shows up for you.
What advice would you give to someone just starting a business here?
Get involved early. Join the Chamber of Commerce and participate in local events. Building relationships in Hutto is everything, and showing up consistently will open doors. This is a community that supports those who show they’re committed.
When you're not working, where can we find you around town? (Favorite coffee, food, or hangout spots?)
You’ll probably catch me eating some pie at the Texan Cafe. It’s a local favorite for a reason.
Anything exciting coming up you'd like the community to know about?
We’ll be at the Austin Home Show this May, and we now offer full-service generator installation and maintenance to help homeowners stay powered year-round. You can also count on seeing us at every Hutto community event, we always have a booth and love connecting with our neighbors. Big things are ahead, and we’re proud to grow alongside this community.
